First trip to the zoo...

for Caroline and Daddy! We somehow didn't get a picture of Caroline & Mama, but we enjoyed it too! Beautiful fall weather to enjoy a vacation day with Daddy.

Caroline's first night at home and she was easy to find! Harder to nurse & change with the contraption around her middle. But it was worth it to get her jaundice under control.

Outings the first week

Grandma was sick for a couple days during her visit, but we were determined to use the remaining two days for a couple fun outings. The requisite post-baby IKEA visit for lunch and browsing. And a first time trip to the Limerick Outlets (1 hour closer than Lancaster!). Found some great deals for the kids and some Christmas presents. We probably did too much, but we had a great time. Mama carried Caroline in the sling the whole time (that got a little tiring even at 7 lbs). The kids enjoyed playing on the ride-on toys in between the store fronts. We never put money in, and so far they haven't seemed concerned that other people actually 'ride' them and not just climb on them and pretend. The exciting part of the day came when new Mama brain forgot her wallet in the bathroom with Caleigh. A wonderfully kind soul found it and took it directly to customer service where we found it later. Yeah!
