Back end of September '10. Just hanging around the house, getting ready for Caroline to turn 1 and us to leave for VA/UT. ;-)
Caroline has quite the will. She loves climbing the stairs (over and over, but only up). She really likes playing with whatever Caleigh and Zachary are playing with, and hugging them and sitting on them and laughing as she grabs their shirt to hold them from leaving her. She is a pro at getting into and out of the porches and usually plays quietly with her basket of toys or the kitchen. She, like the others, loves the leapfrog animal matching game and the 'country dance' music it plays. She has a nice rhythm with her bouncing up and down. She is in love with her doll houses, Zach barn and tractors, and all the animals we have scattered about. She has a high pitched and loud squeal, which may be happy or frustrated or angry. She is getting to be a pro at 'patty cake' and 'rolling them up' and will giggle and move her body in glee before you start to 'tickle in her pan.' Hilarious. She is big on 'cause and effect' games now. Loving her smile and can't believe she is one-year-old!
Caleigh adores her sister, as does Zach. Caleigh likes to play chase and ball with Caroline (a bit 'rougher' than Zach). Zach will ever so gently try and position his puckered mouth to give Caroline a kiss exactly in one spot and will follow her around until he can catch her without using his hands and land the kiss.
