They grow up so fast...

We are amazed at how much Caleigh's face has changed in less than three weeks!

Four generations

Here we are - four generations of family. From left to right -- Grandma, Mama, Great Grandma Gearheart, Caleigh and Great Grandpa Gearheart.

Grandma and Caleigh

I like sitting on Grandma's lap (and she looks like she is enjoying it too!). We had a great visit in Floyd. I loved looking at her den ceiling (mix of white paint and wood beams). That ceiling would stop my crying cold....Daddy and Mama wish they could bring Grandma's ceiling back to our PA home.

Great Grandpa Gearheart makes me laugh! I love him!

Great Grandma, Mama and Caleigh

Lori and Caleigh traveled with Lori's Mom to Floyd, VA March 19-25 to visit family, especially Great Grandma Grace who is recovering from one surgery and preparing for another in April/May. It was a special time of visiting and enjoying each other. We were blessed to have the opportunity and health to make this journey so soon after Caleigh's birth (March 7). Mama and Caleigh missed Daddy terribly, but were joyfully reunited on March 25.

Visiting Floyd and my many relatives there

I enjoyed meeting my great grandma Grace - the one I'm named after. She rocked me, talked to me and generally loved me lots.

Reflections

I also enjoy sleeping in my pack-'n-play. And not too long ago I saw myself in a mirror for the first time. Ohmygosh I was so excited!

Trip to Grandma's House

I slept sooooo much on this chair during our week visit. And I love to raise my hands up over my head (the days of swaddling me are over...).

Am I smiling?

Dinner out was so much fun! Posted by Picasa

First dinner out - one week old

I was such a good girl at my one-week-old dinner 'party' out. Posted by Picasa

I love my Pooh outfit.

After a long day out shopping with mama and grandma, I just had to take a rest in my pack n' play. We went for coffee, to the doctor, for more diapers, and even picked up a kitchen sink! Posted by Picasa

Daddy's home from work!!

So I think I'll just sleep on his chest....just for a minute. Posted by Picasa

Off to church

Caleigh's first Sunday and off to church we went. [By the way - those are decorative pitchers behind mama and daddy's heads. We got a good laugh at how they mirror our ears!] Posted by Picasa

First Bath

Mama and daughter enjoying our little one's first bath. She likes having her eyes covered when being changed. I wonder why. Posted by Picasa

The Ladies Last Evening

Hard to believe when we lived in the city a year ago, we would go out and walk around the town many nights and do all sorts of things around the city. This is more representative of our home life now. Posted by Picasa

The Ladies

The ladies of my life. I don't think I'm capable of words to describe how I feel seeing them together. Posted by Picasa

Hanging Out with Daddy

The two of us together, in the living room. Don't know if she's yawning, getting ready to cry, or rooting a little. One of the high-points of my day. Posted by Picasa

This doesn' t give the full impression of what she looks like when she's burping. To get the full effect, you'd need to see the little ball she curls into. I know I'm a gushing parent, but she's so darn cute! Posted by Picasa

First Pictures

Here's one of our first pictures -- we'll post more once we're home and settling in.

In our unbiased opinion, she's a real cutie.
