I'm a big girl now...

Hey -- this tummy time thing is pretty cool! Not too hard...interesting things under my head to look at. And there's Mama taking yet another picture of me. (see next picture)

...but it's so tiring

I'm sure I'll get the hang of tummy time soon.
There is so much to see -- whether you look up or down!

7 weeks old and looking good

...and so cuddly.

Srike a pose

Caleigh is looking up over her changing pad at her little Eeyore and multi-color keys. Repeatedly, this spot appears to be her favorite place in the house.

New clothes

Oma made me a beautiful and soft dress...with a matching hat and booties. I like that I am so vibrant and colorful in my new clothes!

I have so much to say

Do I have a tall tale to tell you! I've seen a lot in my six weeks here on earth.

Oma said smile for the camera...

...and I did!

My 6-week old trip to the Zoo!

I loved strolling around looking at the sky, trees, and really tall animals I could see from my stroller seat.

Mama and Caleigh at the Philadelphia Zoo

I enjoyed the giraffes the best! But all the animals were very nice to look at (okay -- maybe I mostly slept during our time there, but I'll be back!!)

Caleigh loves Uncle Logan

She is blessed to have such a wonderful uncle.
It will be fun to see the family in Floyd again mid-May. They won't believe how much Caleigh has grown!

Uncle Logan and Caleigh

Uncle Logan happily held Caleigh whether she was asleep, awke & peaceful, or crying.

Recovered pictures -- from week 2 in Floyd

We have been looking for pictures of Uncle Logan with Caleigh and finally have them to share. He is one proud uncle! Caleigh loved rubbing her face against his beard.

The Schantzes -- all dressed up for Easter service

Caleigh made it through most of the Easter service -- asleep and quiet. Then off to Easter lunch! We enjoyed spending Easter with Oma and good friends.

And next we added shoes...

There were many pieces to the Easter outfit -- dress top, bloomers, tights, shoes, and bonnet.
It took us awhile to get everything on!

I'm happy that it's Easter

Just a little smile for Daddy while getting ready for Easter service.

Sleepy girl

I fell asleep while getting ready for Easter service. But don't you love my bonnet?

Happy Easter!

I enjoyed getting ready for Easter service and wearing my new outfit.

5 weeks old today

We don't have much to say about this one. How about comments from our loyal readers as to what she is thinking? Thanks!

I like to snuggle with Eeyore

Naptime is more fun when Mama and Daddy cuddle me with blankets and stuffed animals!

Good morning!

Just had to take a picture of this darling little girl in her pretty pink and white gown. (April 11)

Let's kick up our feet

It's Sunday and we're going to church!

Mama, Daddy and Caleigh -- April 7, 2006

Am I winking at the camera or just a little sleepy?

My musical bunny makes me smile

And sometimes my tongue sticks out when I smile. ;-)

One month old

I'm already bigger than Eeyore and about 3 1/2 squares tall!

First trip to the airport

Mama, Daddy and I went to pick up Oma from the airport. The next time I go to the airport, I will be the one flying!! Mama and I are going to to Floyd, VA in May (by way of Roanoke airport). Should be an adventure!

Oma (Grandma Schantz) & Caleigh

YEAH! Another visitor just for me. I love meeting new family members and being held. This grandma came all the way from Munich, Germany just to hold me (and visit with Mama and Daddy, too, I guess).

Just hanging out on the sofa

It snowed big flakes today, but only briefly. Looks like I'll have to wait awhile to make a snowman.

Four weeks old today!

Where does the time go? But what fun I'm having learning faces, sounds, and that it really is a good thing to have my diaper changed. (Next, we'll work on convincing Caleigh that having a bath is good, too!)

Booties from Oma

These little booties were sent from my Oma (Grandma Schantz). She is coming to visit us this week!

Grandpa, Ms. Flinn, Mama, Caleigh and Daddy

We five had an enjoyable weekend together. Out from near Dayton, Ohio, Grandpa and Ms. Flinn drove all day to visit Caleigh (and her parents too). It's great to have family visit and surround us with support and love.

Hello Grandpa!

Wow! I have a Grandpa from Ohio that came to visit me this weekend. I have so many family members that love me!

Springtime!!!!!!!

Caleigh was a little sleepy after a long stroller ride. We are very happy it's spring, the flowers are blooming, and we can enjoy the out-of-doors.
