Easter celebration

Easter came early this year, but the weather was sunny and mild. Oma made Caleigh a lovely pink dress & bloomers and we accessorized with white shoes, and a fancy hat & socks. Zachary got in the dress up spirit too, but he looks handsome in anything we put him in (read we couldn't figure out what kind of Easter outfit to buy so we went with our favorite existing outfit).

We enjoyed attending service with Paul Bowman (groomsman and master crafter) in Pikesville -- a Missouri Synod Lutheran Church. Took us back to our liturgical roots. He joined us for breakfast and we had a wonderfully big Easter lunch after Caleigh woke up from nap. In the interim we had to fortify ourselves with jelly beans and basil-mozzarella-tomato-olive oil snacks (yum!). Very nice and relaxing time to spend together with Jan and Jochen, and to call the Floyd folks too!
