March 7 - our 3 month old boy

Our little man has topped 16 lbs. - unofficial, but measured on the doctor office's scales. He's grown another inch - to 26". With a little more hair, a lot more coordination, and a piercing gaze. He can be pretty serious (like Caleigh was back then) but has a beautiful laugh and is quite a smiley kid.

He is not so overwhelmed by the activity mat these days and plays under it longer. He is patient with Caleigh trying to open up his balled fist to kiss his palm. This morning we read a book -- one on either of Mama's knee -- with Caleigh's arm around Zach's shoulders. He is ready to 'talk' but can't quite wait for his 'turn' as he'll interrupt our 'urr' to give us another one. ;-) We made him laugh last night just by laughing -- no tickling required! His sides and under his arms and his thighs and, well, ...a lot of his little body is ticklish!

Time is moving on and we are starting to enjoy some warmer spring weather. Out in the sling and stroller we go! And on the porches to do art and lots of pretend play.
