Pickin' punkins

We had the pumpkin patch to ourselves and they were incredibly cheap. Given more room in the car, we could have made a nice profit bringing a load of these gourds back across state lines! And some nice big mums too.

Zach's first time in a pumpkin field and he just didn't know what to do with himself. But he liked the idea of touching/knocking on the pumpkins. Caleigh wasn't having as much fun (wanted to be carried...). She was still able to pick a nice green pumpkin for her own, though.

I think going here (5 miles away from our cabin) was the only thing we had planned that day. Great vacation! We took naps, went to the playground, grilled meals on the bonfire...ahhhh.
