Scenic drive day

We headed north and east toward Vermont. Here we are at Lake Champlain at a wonderful park with great, long views. Daddy and Caleigh took a nice walk along the beach and started skipping rocks. Well, Caleigh more 'threw' them, but she had fun (see the two in the air in pic #2?). Caleigh had a blast running down the big hill and back up to investigate the trees, birds, and water below. She did well in the car because she wore herself out at the park!

Zachary enjoyed watching Caleigh and the falling, colorful leaves.

Then we headed west into Adirondack Park proper. We saw part of the Lake Placid Winter Olympics venues and lots and lots of lakes/rivers.
