Franklin with Daddy

Daddy got 1/2 day off the Friday before Labor Day weekend! With projected rain we headed indoors to the Franklin Institute in Philly. The kids had a blast! Zach's spontaneous giggling, verbal awe, and "this is fun!" gave it away for him. And we used one side elevator for the 1st time and found a cool room on aviation. The kids enjoyed getting close to and in a real fighter plane, making a tile wall move with air from beating on a drum, getting strong wind current blown at them in a flight simulator type room, and being all together for the afternoon. We watched part of a planetarium show on the night sky, which we also enjoyed. The kids now know that the sun is a star and there are LOTS of stars up there to look at!
