Ferrystone Lake

We all got in. Such good memories from last August's visit to the Lake - we were glad to go back again this year with Grandma, and Kelly and her two boys. We hit the beach about the time it opened and stayed six hours! We enjoyed sand toys, swimming, lake toys (like the slide), food and drink, and the play ground...before it rained just after we left. Ahh....good, relaxing day.

Zach became brave like last year soon after wading into the water. He didn't go down the slide but was very content to look at the little fishes, splash around and watch the other kids.

Caroline was satisfied with just her legs in. ;-)

Mack, Krey and Caleigh really liked the slide. Look at those smiles! Over and over...they splashed through the water to slide again.

We set up camp by the sand's edge and under a large tree. We were happy it wasn't too hot (but certainly it could have been cooler) and for the breeze and shade.
