Picking blueberries in the side yard

Yummy! Caleigh was good about looking for the deep blue/purple berries to pick, while leaving the others to ripen. Many were down where she could reach them, but she also pointed out ones "so high" that Mama or Uncle Logan needed to pick them. She liked the responsibility of holding and taking care of the bowl where all the blueberries went. We were out early in PJs (but ever the hat...) and caught sight of a beautiful butterfly in Grandma's flowers.

Another reason to pick blueberries early -- still time to put them into pancakes for breakfast! Yummy!!
